| While in many
respects following the general design of the Moth aeroplanes produced
for many years by the De Havilland Company, the Hornet Moth marks
an advance in comfort, seating two people side by side in an enclosed
cabin. Power is provided by the well-tried Gipsy Major engine, and
the 35-gallon petrol tank gives the plane a range of 623 miles, cruising
at 105 m.p.h. Folding wings are a further attraction of this plane
for the private owner. |
