
| The Cant Z. 506
is a three-engined float seaplane built by the Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico
to the order of Ala Littoria for services in the Adriatic, principally
between Trieste and Brindisi. It is of all-wood construction except
for the floats, which are of duraluim. There are two passenger cabins
each seating six, separated by the entrance vestibule and lavatory.
The Z. 506 is fitted with three Piaggio "Stella X. RII"
engines, which give it a cruising speed of 161 m.p.h. Its loaded weight
is 19,800 lbs. |
