
| The Clark G.A.
43 is a high-performance, single-engined monoplane built by the American
General Aviation Manufacturing Corporation. The G.A. 43 accommodates
ten passengers and has five separate metal fire-proof compartments
in wings and fuselage for mail, freight and baggage. It has a retractable
undercarriage in which the wheels swing backwards into special streamline
casings below the wings. Fitted with a 700 h.p. Wright "Cyclone"
engine, the G.A. 43 has a cruising speed of 162 m.p.h. Its weight
fully loaded is 8,750 lbs. |
